甲 | 人の行動を２種類に分けたとします。人の目を意識し、ある種の効果を意図した行動全般。いわゆるパフォーマンスを便宜的に『行為』と呼んでみます。それに対し、行動そのものが目的であって、そのとき自分がどう見えてるかなどは考えていない無意識的或いは作業的な振る舞い。“素の動き”と言われる行動をここでは『無為』と呼びます。『無為』とは、目前に迫った期限に追われて仕事に没頭する後ろ姿であり、「バリバリ働く姿が素敵」と思われたがっているその背中は『行為』に他なりません。
There are 2 types of human acts. One is called “conscious action”-in that people purposely do the action, or performance in order to show what he/she is doing to the others.On the other hand, “unconscious action ” is another action in which he/she never cares how the people look. He/she will do it because it has need for it.For example, when a person works hard because the deadline is tomorrow morning, that action is “unconscious”, but if the person works hard in order to show off the look of hardworking; that is “conscious”. The difference is what the aim or purpose is for the action. |
| 乙 | 子供の頃からの店好きで、暇さえ有ればいろんな街の商店街に一人で出掛け、遊んでいました。居並ぶ店はそれぞれ趣向を凝らして、道行く人達の足を止めようとします。その華やいだ表の雰囲気も、一歩裏に回ると以外にみすぼらしい現実があらわになっていて興醒めさせられたり、いやむしろその仮設的なしつらえこそが返って虚構性を含んでいて良いのだ等と思い直したりしていました。
When I was young, I often had been on the streets to see many kinds of shops and malls. What the most fascinating thing to me was looking at two different sides: front and back side of the shops. Although its front face looked very beautiful, its back was opposite but more real to me. Not only the back side of world was real, but also, the front face of the world, that looked very fake, and it shows me what the realism is. |
